Friends, Washingtonians, Countrypeople,

We have a date. And a venue. And because the venue is one of those inclusionary things, we also have a photographer, caterer, bartender, and DJ.

Now I just have to find a dress, a florist, a hotel that will hold a block of rooms for us…

The best part, I mean other than knowing where we are doing it and being able to visualize what it will be like and having a date to look forward to, is the actual date itself. From next summer onward, GTB and I will commemorate the day we mutually and eternally acknowledged our love for each other in front of our families and friends on 6/9.

And no, that wasn’t entirely on purpose. It’s still pretty fuckin’ awesome though.
