Nooooooooooo!
Apparently, Alias’ Jennifer Garner is trying to get Michael Vartan’s character killed off. (“Well, first of all, my name isn’t Michael Vaughn.”)
I swear, if they do it, I’ll stop watching Alias AND Lost. And don’t even get me started on the MI:3 boycott I’d start.
Fortunately, there’s hope:
Just to be clear though, I’m no Ho, Vartan’s or otherwise.

I hate to say it, but I think it’s a good idea to kill off Vaughn. I suspect that the writers may have their own reasons and Pages Six is just trying to dig up some dirt.
The show was at it’s best when there was uncertainty about Sydney and Vaughn’s future. At first , they had that Moonlighting sexual tension thing going on and then they went to ridiculous lengths to reintroduce it at the end of season 2 when things started to lose focus on Alias. The central conflict of the show is Syd trying to hang on to her humanity and the hope for a normal life while being an ass-kicking, international super spy. If she settles down and starts raising a family with Vaughn, the show is dead and with him still in the picture, where else can they go? Another round of “Oh Syd, we just can’t be together…it’s just not right” would put me off the show for good.
Don’t hate me Ms. Hick, but I’ve hoped for this since the end of season 3. I like Michael Vartan and the character he plays, but his time has come.
Now if they tried to kill off Jack Bristow, I’d be super pissed.

Damnit, Joe. You always have such good arguments for why they should do something I don’t want them to do. Do I agree with you? Maybe. But I reserve my right to cry like a baby if they kill him off.
